外国人旅行者等を対象に、気軽に日本の伝統文化を体験できるプログラムを実施します。ぜひご参加ください！
This workshop offers programs for foreign tourists so that they can experience various aspects of traditional Japanese culture in a casual atmosphere. Please come join the fun!

●染色体験
Fabric Dyeing Experience
（染色協議会） 

新宿は染物のまちでもあります。絞り染めは日本を代表する着物の染め方です。ハンカチに色をつけて、あなただけのオリジナルの美しい模様を作りましょう！作品は持ち帰ることができます。
Shinjuku is also a town known for dyeing textiles. Tie-dyeing is a typical way of dyeing a Japanese kimono. Try dyeing a handkerchief and create your own beautiful pattern! You can take your finished work home.

●華道体験
Flower Arrangement Experience
（華道家元池坊　中村正和）

日本の伝統文化である生け花にふれてみませんか。生け花は、季節の草木や花などの植物を器に飾る日本の伝統的芸術の一つです。生け花の歴史と基本的な型についての講義の後、参加者に生け花を体験して頂きます。初めての方にも優しくわかりやすく説明します。
Ikebana flower arranging is a Japanese art in which you arrange plants—such as seasonal grasses, trees and flowers—in a vase or other vessel. This event offers a presentation on the history of ikebana and a lesson on basic shapes, after which you can try arranging flowers on your own. The explanations given will be easy to understand even for beginners.


●雅楽/舞楽
Gagaku/ Bugaku（Music Concert）

 演奏スケジュール [1]11:00-11:15、[2]12:15-12:30、[3]14:00-14:15、[4]15:15-15:30
※[1][4]は管弦、[2][3]は舞楽。
楽器体験 [1]11:15-11:45、[2]12:30-13:00、[3]14:15-14:45

雅楽は長く宮中を中心に伝承されている音楽と舞などの総称です。
笙、篳篥、龍笛、琵琶、筝による管弦のほか、舞楽「陵王」もお楽しみいただけます。
