外国人旅行者等を対象に、気軽に日本の伝統文化を体験できるプログラムを実施します。ぜひご参加ください！
This workshop offers programs for foreign tourists so that they can experience various aspects of traditional Japanese culture in a casual atmosphere. Please come join the fun!

●染色体験
Fabric Dyeing Experience
（判子染め/二葉苑） 

インドから輸入された木版染め「インド更紗」は江戸の職人の手により進化し、型紙を使用して染める「江戸更
紗」となりました。
今回は、染色の原点ともいえる「木版染め」の工法をアレンジした「判子染め」でハンカチを染めます。
会場には判子染めと型染めの混合の着物を展示しています。
The woodcut block dyeing imported from India, "Indian Calico", evolved by the scheme of the craftsmen in Edo era and became "Edo Calico" dyed by paper patterns.  This time, we will dye a handkerchief with "hanko dyeing" which was arranged from the processes of "woodcut block dyeing"
that is said to be the origin of dyeing. In the venue, kimonos made of mixed fabric dyed with "hanko dyeing" and "kata dyeing" are displayed.


●華道体験
Flower Arrangement Experience
（草月流/師範会理事　今村草玉）

日本の伝統文化である生け花にふれてみませんか。
 生け花は、季節の草木や花などの植物を器に飾る日本の伝統的芸術の一つです。
 生け花の歴史と基本的な型についての講義の後、参加者に生け花を体験して頂きます。初めての方にも優しくわかりやすく説明します。
 作品の完成後、お花はお持ち帰り頂けます。
Would you like to learn about ikebana, the art of flower arrangement, which is a key facet of traditional Japanese culture? Ikebana, the art of flower arrangement, is a traditional Japanese art in which plants such as seasonal greenery and flowers are arranged in a container. After you hear a presentation on the history and basic forms of ikebana, you can try creating your own ikebana. The method will be explained in a manner that even beginners can understand.

●三曲合奏演奏
Music Concert

演奏　1回30分　[1]10:00-、[2]12:00-、[3]14:00-
体験　時間内随時（演奏時間を除く）
三曲とは、日本に伝わる地歌三味線(三弦)、箏、胡弓または尺八という三種の楽器の総称です。今回は三味線、箏、尺八による合奏を行います。
Sankyoku is the general term for three instruments: Jiuta Shamisen, Koto and Kokyu or Shakuhachi.
Please enjoy the ensemble by Shamisen, Koto and Shakuhachi. You can also take musical instruments and experience the performance.
