On June 23 (Thu.), 2011, Shinjuku City began monitoring radiation levels in the air at various facilities within the city. The resulting measurements are announced below.

Monitoring Procedures
• Measurements are taken at both one meter above the ground and five centimeters above the ground.
• Readings at each height are taken five times, and an average figure is recorded as the measured value of each location.
