 The Shinjuku Foundation for Creation of Future operates sports facilities, such as gymnasiums, martial arts venues, heated pools, baseball grounds, and tennis courts. Since the usage procedures (such as group use and individual use), the sports facilities available, eligibility requirements, and fees (if any) vary with each facility, please call for more information.

●Shinjuku Cosmic Sports Center

 Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
 Closed: 2nd Monday of the month (The following day if it is a national holiday), during the year-end/New Year holidays (December 29 through January 3), and special holidays


 There is a heated pool, sports room, martial arts area, archery area, and toddlers’ sports room. You can do water walking in the pool.
 There are also sports lessons in which you can join in the sport of your choice any time, such as aerobics, yoga, stretch, and hula.

 There is a training room, a jogging course, a heated swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a martial art room. Public lessons and other events are held here.

 Note: Health Studio and the training room can be used until 6 p.m. on  Sundays and national holidays.

Rental fees vary according to the program offered and the facility to be used.

There are various exercise programs, such as yoga and stretch classes, in which anyone from small children to the elderly can feel free to join. There is also a Health Studio and training room. Additionally, you can rent such facilities as the gymnasium, meeting room and club room.

  The school facilities, school yards, and swimming pools of municipal elementary/junior high schools and metropolitan high schools in the city are open to the public insofar as such services don’t interfere with school classes. The type of facilities, subjects, eligibility requirements, hours, and procedures for use all vary with each school, so please call for more information.
